Consent to Receive Marketing and Informational Communications from ReloSale

1. General Provisions

This document (hereinafter referred to as the "Consent") sets out the terms under which the user gives consent to receive informational and marketing communications from the ReloSale platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform").

This Consent applies in cases where applicable law requires obtaining the user's prior consent before sending marketing communications. In jurisdictions where such consent is not required, marketing communications may be sent on other lawful grounds permitted by law.

This Consent operates in conjunction with the ReloSale Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy and does not replace it. Matters not covered by this document are governed by the Privacy Policy.

2. Types of Communications That May Be Sent

Based on this Consent, the user may receive the following types of communications:

  • product news, updates, and new features of the Platform;
  • special offers, discounts, promotions, bonuses, and promo codes;
  • offers related to listing promotion and the use of paid services;
  • personalized recommendations based on the user's interests, activity, and preferences;
  • reminders about incomplete actions, inactive listings, and expiration of subscriptions or paid services;
  • invitations to participate in surveys, research, beta tests, and feedback programs;
  • other advertising and informational-marketing communications related to the Platform's activities.

3. Communication Channels

Marketing communications may be sent through the following channels:

  • email;
  • SMS messages;
  • push notifications (mobile and web);
  • phone calls, where permitted by applicable law;
  • messages within the Platform interface (in-app notifications, banners, pop-ups);
  • messengers and other communication channels, if the user has provided the relevant contact information.

Available communication channels depend on the user's country of residence, account type, notification settings, and the Platform's technical capabilities.

4. What Is Not Generally Considered Marketing Communication

The following types of communications are not considered marketing and may be sent to the user regardless of whether this Consent has been given or withdrawn:

  • messages related to registration, account login, identity verification, password changes, and account security;
  • notifications about actions related to listings, payments, refunds, complaints, disputes, moderation, and other operational events;
  • notifications about material changes to the Platform's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other mandatory documents;
  • technical and service alerts, including messages about scheduled maintenance, outages, access restrictions, and service restoration;
  • messages sent in fulfillment of contractual obligations to the user or lawful obligations of the Platform.

5. How Consent May Be Given

Consent to receive marketing communications may be given by one of the following methods:

  • checking a checkbox in the relevant form during registration, subscription, or use of a service;
  • clicking a confirmation button (e.g., "Subscribe," "Receive Offers," etc.);
  • activating a subscription setting in the user's personal account or notification settings section;
  • completing and submitting a mailing list subscription form;
  • any other unambiguous affirmative action by the user that can be recorded by the Platform.

Silence, inaction, or pre-checked boxes do not constitute valid consent in jurisdictions where the law requires explicit and informed expression of will.

6. Scope of Consent

By giving consent, the user permits ReloSale to use their contact information for the following purposes:

  • sending marketing and informational communications as described in Section 2;
  • managing the user's subscriptions and communication preferences;
  • measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;
  • maintaining a consent log to confirm the fact and circumstances of consent.

Under this Consent, ReloSale may carry out the following data processing activities:

  • storing the fact, date, time, and method of consent;
  • segmenting users by country, language, interest category, and account status for sending relevant communications;
  • configuring the frequency and schedule of message delivery;
  • processing technical data on delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes for optimization and quality control of communications.

7. Personalization of Communications

ReloSale may personalize marketing communications based on the following factors:

  • categories of listings that the user has posted, viewed, or saved;
  • history of interaction with the Platform, including search queries, clicks, transitions, and responses;
  • use of paid services, promotion packages, and advertising tools;
  • region, interface language, and the user's assumed interests;
  • event-based triggers, such as subscription expiration, prolonged inactivity, or the appearance of new relevant listings.

Personalization of marketing communications does not constitute solely automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning the user. Personalization is aimed at increasing the relevance of communications and does not restrict access to the Platform's features.

8. Right to Unsubscribe and Withdraw Consent

The user may at any time opt out of receiving marketing communications or withdraw previously given consent. To do so, the user may use any of the following methods:

  • clicking the unsubscribe link in a received email;
  • changing notification settings in the user's personal account on the Platform;
  • contacting ReloSale support with an unsubscribe request;
  • disabling push notifications through the device or browser system settings;
  • other opt-out mechanisms provided by the Platform.

Opting out of marketing communications does not affect the lawfulness of communications sent prior to the opt-out. The opt-out also does not apply to service, transactional, and other non-marketing notifications described in Section 4.

9. Duration of Consent

This Consent is effective from the moment it is given until the moment it is withdrawn by the user or the purpose for which it was obtained ceases to exist.

ReloSale may periodically update or re-request confirmation of consent if this is necessitated by changes in applicable law, Platform terms, or marketing communication practices.

10. Service Providers and Partners

For the purpose of sending marketing communications, ReloSale may engage third-party service providers, including providers of email delivery, SMS gateways, push notifications, CRM systems, CDP platforms, and analytics tools.

User data is shared with such service providers only to the extent necessary to perform the relevant task and under conditions that ensure adequate data protection.

Cross-border data transfer matters are governed by the ReloSale Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy.

11. Changes to This Marketing Consent

ReloSale reserves the right to modify, update, and supplement this Consent at any time. The revised version takes effect upon its publication on the Platform or on such other date as expressly stated in the document.

If the changes are material, ReloSale may re-request confirmation of the user's consent.
